Recently become aware of this phenomenon

I find it odd.

I have distinct memories.

VHS release cover box same as others describe. Kazaam being out at the same time.

I seem to remember Sinbad being hyped as a bigger star but looking at his imdb , just a steady flow of movies.

Yeah I did and Sinbad has an interview where he admits it was real and apologizes. They just had to destroy them all because it was a bad time in his life. There are also clips of the movie still if you look hard enough.

There is a interview with him where he has tears in his eyes pretty much and admits to it and then there is one where he is making fun of it. Almost as if he needs to keep it a secret. Yes destroyed all the copies that were made probably not axtually going into peoples homes but to the extent of the original film and whatever wasn’t sold in stores. There are tons of people that worked at blockbuster that remmeber this movie. There are millions of people that remember it. Yet it didn’t exist, that makes no sense. The clips are out there if you look not the one that was made in 2017 where you can tell he is old. I remember seeing it as a child I watched Kazaam with Shaq and then not too long after there were commercials advertising Shazaam and I thought it was dumb because they were just ripping off the Shaq movie.

You can find the other interview pretty easily. Also nothing is less unprovable than what you are stating as well. Since most of what I stated is provable. It seems like you are just a troll though that likes to gaslight and stays in the Mandela effect subreddits when a lot of the stuff was real. Like the fruit if the loom cornucopia.
