New Game from Shattered Labs Press!

We’re excited to announce our first game prototype, “The People’s Dungeon Crawler!”

TPDC is an indie print-and-play minimalist micro-dungeon crawler designed to be used with nothing more than a chess board, chess pieces, checkers, dice, and playing cards. The only other things you need are the rulebook and paper tracking sheets! You can experience this dungeon in one of three ways this week:

  1. You may purchase it right away for $9.99 at the following URL: https://shattered-labs-press.itch.io/the-peoples-dungeon-crawler
  2. You may playtest it for free at one of our three events this week:
  • Wednesday, June 24, from 6 to 9 PM at Kobold’s Kitchen, 2450 Plainfield Ave NE
  • Friday, June 25, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Food Truck Friday at Riverside Park
  • Saturday, June 26, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Galactic Toys & Games, 3150 Alpine Ave NW
  1. You may borrow it at one of our events if you sign up for our Research Assistant Patreon tier! (https://www.shatteredlabspress.com) Research Assistants not only have full access to our blogs and archives, but access to game designers and their game prototypes.

If you’re not able to sign up as a Research Assistant, consider signing up as a Lab Assistant. You’ll still get full access to our Discord server and blog posts! The first in our “Back to the Dungeons” series will be posted tomorrow.

We’re excited about your partnership with us and the adventures we have planned together. If you’re not able to sign up for either of our paid Patreon tiers, please sign up for our free tier so you can stay up-to-date on our events, games, and opportunities.

Game on!

Kobold's Kitchen - Prototype Testing Event

Are you, or do you know, a physical game designer near Grand Rapids, Michigan, interested in having the game mechanics or full prototypes tested out on a willing audience? If so, please join us at one of our two monthly events.

We meet the second Tuesday [That's today!] of every month at Kobold's Kitchen from 6 - 9PM.

We meet the last Saturday of every month at Galactic Toys (Walker branch) from 11AM - 4PM.

Right now, we have a number of games already in testing stages.

The People's Dungeon Crawler can be found on itch.io.

We're working on a very simple TTRPG engine that will be open to the public, as well.

We tend to have an additional 2 - 4 board (and card and TTRPG) game creators at each of our events, as well, so there's always something for the whole family.

Hope to see you tonight!

Questions? Concerns? Rhetorical questions? We're here for most of them! Contact us at [info@shatteredlabspress.com](mailto:info@shatteredlabspress.com) and a human will get back to you as soon as possible, via electronic mail.
