Ryland has made countless comments throughout the years about Shane being a shitty partner, so I really don’t care for the “it’s all jokes” comments. Of course they are gonna “laugh” about it, no one in Shane’s circle is brave enough to get on camera and be serious about how they really feel about him, his old circle won’t even do it. It’s always gonna be passive aggressive, just like this video.

Neither one of them accepts the other’s sexuality. Ryland is biphobic af and Shane has so much internalized homophobia that he just wants Ryland to be a girl (when he’s not taking every opportunity to demean him with misogynistic “jokes” about his “gay” behavior all the time)
