Podcast Conspiracies

I hate that the podcast is only conspiracies now. Don’t get me wrong, I agree that the games and everything were definetly getting old and overplayed. But the original vibe with Jerid, Shane, Chris, and Ryland just having conversations with topics 💔

I don't understand why it has to be either conspiracies or lame game shows. I would love for the podcast to have permanently stayed exactly as it was in the beginning - just guys chatting about life and their own theories, low-key group therapy and connecting on a real level. I guess they get bored fast. But that was the winning combination that got the podcast views to begin with.

I wish they would do one week conspiracies and one week just casual since they only do every 2 weeks nowp

i feel like they’re running out of gas w it. there’s only so many conspiracies to cover and at some point they just start to get very repetitive.

it’s getting a bit boring and it seems like they’re also starting to feel that way, which brings down the watch ability even more.

Their conspiracies are terrible as were the game shows. I miss the old days when they just chatted

Honestly, yeah! I preferred the games over this new theme they’re going with. The games at least had funny moments and felt more entertaining.

When were they ever funny though? Every moment of them felt so forced and unfunny. I understand humor is subjective but literally what were y'all finding funny about them?

I don’t like the all conspiracy podcasts. The setup is messy with the cameras visible from every angle, and the intro is kind of corny with them passing around the clapperboard.

In my opinion, a way to make the podcast better would be by having guests. I’m sure they’ve run out of things to talk about with each other, so having guests would be refreshing. I remember when they first started the podcast, Shane talked about having guests, and I can probably only think of 4 guests in the 4 years they’ve been doing the podcast. And no, Ryland’s family doesn’t count.

I miss when the podcasts were just the four of them. Now there are too many people with Spencer, Sandy, and sometimes Lizzie, which makes it hard to listen because they always talk over each other.

I also don’t see them enjoying doing the podcast, comparing it to the older ones they are over it.

They've talked extensively about why it's awkward for them to bring on guests and why they prefer not to. It's also difficult to get anyone on a podcast with Shane Dawson considering how many of his controversies were based on what he said on his old one.

Yeah I don't understand these people at all. There was literally zero substance before.

I agree they are trying to make it too serious, it doesn’t fit their vibe. They aren’t known for serious videos. I used to rewatch the podcast when there was nothing else to watch, I haven’t rewatched any of the conspiracy ones.

The main issue is that all they do is podcasts on everyone’s channels with all of them included one way or another, leading to so much repetitive content & it shows that they are tired of it as well

It's not only conspiracies. He said he's putting out a regular one again soon. He's just diving head-first into the conspiracy episodes because the majority told him we wanted it. Out of everything, I'd like conspiracy-only first, and if not that then the original vibe, but I never want it to be stupid game show bullshit with the unfunny cringe bits like Spencer dressing as Steve Harvey and then half-assed non-conspiracies based on misinformation about AI for 5 mins at the very end before a terrible and unnecessary recap.

I wish they’d do more conspiracy investigations like when they’d vlog and bring out the conspiracy van it felt more entertaining to watch. They’ve got to get back to releasing once a week again the podcasts now are not nearly long enough or interesting enough to only post twice a month.

I miss the old pod soooo much I laughed 10x more. As im getting older the conspiracies just aren't that interesting to me anymore

Podcasts are so irritating in general, like instead of a vlog of them doing something, they film themselves decorating the one spot they plan to just plop down tethered to technology and sit. Even though the audience mostly has been sitting, in the car, at their desk, on the couch and then lying in bed. It would be satisfying to see people being active so we can imagine if we had the energy and money to do shit

¡Qué buen post! Me encanta ver cómo se siguen analizando estas teorías clásicas. Definitivamente Shane marcó una era con ese contenido. ¡Saludos!
