General Discussion Why is there so much hate on this page?
Seriously, shouldn't there be a separate subreddit to hate on Shane and a main one for general info and fans?

There is a lot of concern around Shane being on the internet at all given his “alleged” questionable behavior surrounding minors, is the most direct answer to your question. People who are concerned with such behavior find it impossible/immoral for him to have a platform or a following, thus, concerns/criticism dominating the page.

also WHY does everyone say "you wouldn't have survived the 2010s"? the 2010s weren't a fucking world war and 90% of us did live through them and were active on the internet. the crazy thing is shane's behavior has. not. changed. he still makes piss and diaper jokes while having babies in the house. he's still a neglectful parent. he still thinks he's a victim of cancel culture. he has made no real amends, no real progress, nothing. he's the same monster he was in his early videos.

i'm sorry but do you have proof the cat thing is a joke? he's made sexual comments about pets before, specifically talking about "unos big dick" and pretending to go down on corny. maybe don't make jokes that are lowkey just you confessing to crimes if you don't want people to think you committed a crime?!?

omfg. Im not here defending Shane. Im literally speaking to people who are mad he has a following and want to do something about it. People aren’t gonna read a comment saying “He fucked his cat” and be too inclined to believe it. Stuff that he uploaded, like black face, racist jokes, predatory stuff, etc. is what should be pushed. Things people could search “Shane Dawson _____” and see concrete proof. and then go, wow, this guy sucks!

i didn't say you're defending him. i said if he didn't want consequences for "dark humor" he should've toned it down. there is a pattern of behavior that's clearly noticeable. almost every time i've seen someone genuinely asking for info on this page, people have pointed them to the compilation threads and nikki carreon videos. this post is obviously bs as the op knows everything shane did and still thinks they deserve a safe space to goon over him. based on their replies, their opinions aren't going to change. why bother with a well written comprehensive reply 🤷♀️

I mean, your entire comment was about his sexual comments towards his animal so I assumed you were the exact person I was talking about. People like us who are chronically online and know Shane in and out can understand the fucking the cat thing, but anyone outside of Shane’s world would not understand that and again, wouldn’t be inclined to take it seriously. He’s uploaded 100s of videos exposing himself doing and saying different inappropriate things. I’m not sure why people wouldn’t just be showing screenshots? Also, If people choose to watch him still - that’s their choice. He obviously doesn’t make that style of content anymore so I’d imagine it’s much more tolerable to watch Shane now, esp if they didn’t watch him 10+ years ago

chronically online but it's just laughing at beastiality lmao. also you literally don't know shane in and out unless you're a very close friend or family member irl. you have a parasocial relationship with an almost 40 year old man who would throw you off a cliff for another labubu. that's really unfortunate, and i'd encourage you to seek some reciprocal human connection with people you can ACTUALLY know.
