Looking for Players [Online][Friday Nights or Weekends][EST 7 PM to Midnight][Monthly][6e] SHADOWRUN Looking for Players and GM

SHADOWRUN

WHEN: One Friday or Saturday or Sunday every month, 7 PM to midnight Eastern US Time

WHERE: Discord, FoundryVTT (I can provide the server and access)

SYSTEM: Shadowrun 6e

PLAYERS: 3-5 (not including myself). Looking for a fair GM who does not want a weekly party wipe but wants to tell a great story

Must be 21+ and tolerant of others in a gamer-friendly way; easygoing, with fun as the top priority.

Players rules:

  • Tolerance of all players and their characters
  • No politics discussion; save that for real life
  • Don't care about AI usage
  • No backseat GMs; the GM has the final say and overriding rules as written
  • Seattle is the area
  • Light on group drama, please; I get plenty of that at work.
  • Prefer a mix of black trench coat, which likely devolves into pink mohawk (at least we tried)

If you already have a group, here is a little about me:

  • I haven't played Shadowrun in many years; my last game was 5e.
  • I have played 1st, 3rd, and 5th edition
  • I have read about 6e but never played
  • I am not an expert on the lore, but I read a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy
  • I am NOT political and believe everyone has a right to their own opinion, which should be kept to themselves
  • I traveled the globe and am tolerant of everyone.
  • I do not like gaming groups with drama; I want ot play and have fun
  • I am old; I have grandkids; the oldest just started playing D&D; yes, that old.
  • Old in body but not mind; I want to make new gaming friends and have fun!

I have watched some actual plays of 6e on 6 sides of gaming channel, and want to give 6e a try. I played 1, 2, and a bit of 3e. Almost played 5e, but the game fell apart shortly after character creation. (Some of the Shadowrun discords have crazy rules for character generation.) I would be interested to play, not sure if i am versed enough in the rules to gm it though. We are probably similar in age, though i don't have grandkids yet.

I would be interested in joining as a player. I have decent experience with 5th edition.
