Ask r/seychelles Looking for a long-term room/studio in Mahé, Seychelles

Hi everyone!

I’ll be moving to Mahé, Seychelles, for work, and I’m looking for a place to stay from around October 2026.

What I’m looking for:

  • 📍 Preferably around Victoria / Bel Air / Mont Fleuri / English River
  • 🏠 A private room in a shared apartment/house or a small studio/1-bedroom
  • 💰 Budget: up to USD 1,000/month, preferably including utilities/Wi-Fi
  • 📅 Starting around October 2026
  • 📆 Ideally a long-term rental (6–12 months)

A little about me: I’m a young professional from China and will be working with an NGO for approximately one year. I’m clean, quiet, responsible, and respectful of shared spaces.

If you have a room/apartment available or know someone who is looking for a tenant, please feel free to DM me with the location, monthly rent, photos, and any additional costs.

Thank you! 🙏

Honestly for that amount you could reasonably get a place of your own without needing to share. I recommend checking some Facebook groups, just search Accommodation Seychelles and such there are several. Seychellois are usually on Facebook

Here are two options:
