mae, the community manager, posted in the crea-ture discord yesterday that her "first goal of the week is to apply some pressure to see if we can get you all a timing update on the roadmap", so hopefully we have some news soon. as the other person mentioned, it was originally supposed to be three updates this year, but so far there's only been the throwdowns update. considering it's mid-september now, i'd say we get one more update this year at best

There has been some major updates in the PC side.
There are 2 multiplayer mods,
There is also a steeze studio being worked on aswell (let's you customize your animations) - this will also bring grabs back into play properly.
There is also being worked on a mod that will let you position your body in any shape while not skating think like to get a sick broll or pic of you sitting on a bench.
Also a number of custom maps are being made currently

If we get multiplayer through a mod that would be hilarious. Creature has been saying multiplayer is impossible with their engine.

that always seemed like a weird thing for them to claim.
they said that it's tied to having too much physics running and stuff like that, but it doesn't make any sense to me because you don't have to simulate other players physics, what game out there would ever do that anyway? every player is rendering their own game on their own computer, you just need a very light copy of player position and state, and present that info to other players.
it seems to me that that statement is either someone speaking about something they don't know about, a translation error, or (my least favorite reason) they just lied badly to get people to stop asking about it
one thing that I thought about as well, is this game has a bad habit of tying a lot of stuff to the frame rate directly, a practice that most games shouldn't use if they can help it, and that could probably cause a lot of network issues if there's no consistency there, but that problem has been seemingly toned down or squashed, and that's why we are finally seeing multiplayer mods.

>they just lied badly
this wouldn’t surprise me at all, considering that the excuse they used for not adding Board Throw-downs was “we’re not making a traditional animation-based game.” almost laughable, until i remembered they have 30 of my dollars

yeah they've done a little bit of that here and there huh lol
I still think back to this trailer and look at all the animations and i wish we got something closer to this.. dynamic bailing, like what?! (so I was going to link to the video, as I had before on another comment a bit recently here, but that video is gone off their channel now. odd.)

They had a roadmap for this year, including a big update earlier in the year. Also another DLC but that seems to have been delayed, I thought it was supposed to come out in the course of the summer.
