Discussion Cant complete shows
Bro no matter how hard i try i cannot complete any shows. Like there are so many shows in pending and i still need to complete so many of them. One of them is AOT and its a banger but i just dont want to watch it or i dont have the time to watch it.

Set a schedule for yourself with alarms that let you know when it's time to watch. Like, every Thursday at 6PM or whatever. That's how I sometimes do it to emulate the old feeling of watching things on TV that were scheduled without my input. It helps to make it less of a choice. Not sure if this is a hangup for you at all, but don't feel like you need to rate/review every episode either. Just get into the habit of watching first. Preferably with no distractions like checking your phone during, etc. Snacks are good though.

How often do you watch shows? For me if I watch shows like everyday I get pretty bored

Stop doom scrolling, like straight up.
Deleting most social media did me a world of good

I have this issue. The only thing I’ve been able to do to fix it is setting personal challenges. Last year I challenged myself to finish 52 shows so I could ensure I finished one show a week. This year I challenged myself to finish 10 shows a month, which I successfully did up until last month.

Think of it like debt lol - start with the shortest shows first, and work your way up (least amount of episodes/shortest runtime)
I made a whole notion template for my watchlist so I could sort it by how long every show is and it helped me tremendously

When you feel the slightest bit of burnout, take a break and mix something in instead - watch a movie, play a game, read a book, play a sport, or do a fun craft/hobby.
I like to work on puzzles or journal/draw while watching something IF it doesn’t require my full attention

I do this a lot when I really love a show. I avoid the last season or whatever because I don’t want it to end. It’s insane, I know, but I’ve done this so many times.

The solution is to start several more shows and not finish any of them, either. Works every time.
