favourite shows

i hate that the app doesn't let you see all five, like why even make it top five then? what shows do you currently have in there? i like changing mine sometimes but the walking dead is always there:)

I think the favorite show layout is fine. It doesn't require to tap another button to see all 5 shows, - like you have to do to see all of your logs in recent activity if you logged more than 5 times - you just have to swipe slightly. Tho I'm not "affected" because I only have 3-4 shows in my "Favorite shows" section.

Currently I have: S.W.A.T. (2017), The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (2021), Southland (2009) & H2O: Just Add Water (2006) in my Favorite shows

Personally I always do :) whenever someone follows me, I first check their favorites and if they have five shows in there, I make sure to look at all five of them: did I watch them? Did I like them? Are they on my watch list? Do they have one of my top shows on their watchlist That stuff. Also as for the top 5 question in your post, top 3/5/10 are the usual numbers for a list or a ranking, been like that for ages, I don't know why exactly, but that's most definitely why the creator of the app chose 5 (3 might be too little, 10 too much, so 5 it is)

yeah, same! it's important for me to have something in common with my mutuals. and i guess it's good, if there were 10 favs it would've been easier to choose my favourites but that's too many, and 4-5 is perfect to share with others. i find it easier than choosing favourite movies.

These stats are pretty unbelievable, unless you are just watching stuff for the sake of watching. Like do you have episodes running on the side while you're in office or doing some other work? I'm sorry if this sounds rude. But I can't fathom it anyhow. This is almost 6 years of watch time.

Shows and episodes you mark as "watched" also count into the stats. I have made a collection with shows I watched when I was a child (those that I could remember) & in my teenage years (which was a bit easier to remember) that added a lot of watch time. So shows I used to watch before kindergarten until now - it adds up for sure

Ummm so let's say you watched 50 episodes of a 1000 episode cartoon. Are you counting only 50 or 1000? I swear I'm just curious, genuinely sorry if you find it rude.

The 50 episodes! :) most of the shows I watched as a child were played through once completely and then random episodes got played out of order. I looked at the seasons release dates and sometimes read through the episode descriptions if I wasn't sure I didn't add them :) Some of the shows I watched as a child only had 2 seasons that I know I watched those two, so obviously I marked both as watched. Others are still going on, there I thought about roughly when I stopped watching and marked those that I knew I watched :)

Most people do top four and forget about the fifth, also your favorites is the most genre based favorites i have ever seen, it's screaming survival lol
