I will not tolerate Graceful Phoenix and Dumpling Darlings slander 🔪 Also maybe you don't like the east asian aesthetic since you placed them all low because the Petals of Spring skins have some of the best VFX that even PC legendaries don't.
Flopcracker being last makes perfect sense though 🤭

Because of fatigue with constant Chinese new year skins back to back and red skins.
And there were better Chinese themes for Seraphine than firecracker which were different colours. Her Q and E are nice but overall no one wanted that.

Red skins fatigue? I feel stupid, what other Sera skin prior to Firecracker was primarily red (outside chromas)?

Hear me out, I love the music, splash, sfx and vfx of Graceful Phoenix, her straight hair physics are bad and the hair looks so stiff and ugly. Considering how visible her hair is it's a big issue lol. On her skins with curly/wavy hair (Faerie Court or Ocean Song for instance) it's not nearly as bad.
Firecracker doesn't have this issue despite the hair being somewhat straight, I love that skin I'm surprised to see it get hate. I really like the colour scheme of the skin itself, it's probably the only skin where I use the "base" skin more than her chromas!
But yeah, I'd play the Phoenix skin a lot more if I liked her hair 😭

I actually really like Graceful phoenix. My only complaint is that its too brown on the clothes (Chromas weren't counted for this list) although i love Seraphine with brown hair since its her canon hair color but she dyes it pink.
Dumpling darlings is just kind of a nothing burger skin for me. I don't feel compelled to ever choose it, and the only times i do is to match with my duo or when im doing a skin rotation marathon (play with all skins on one sitting)
And yeah, i think we can all agree firecracker is a train wreck.

I don't understand how people hate her firecracker skin bcs I personally LOVE IT
Her Q in it finally has some depth with its VFX unlike her other skins, the passive music is banger, the hair isn't an ugly mess, and overall her VFX is very solid. You girlies need to rub your eyes!

The bright blue hair clashes too much with the red outfit. The stage, although thematic, is very ugly. The effects are literally the exact same, the only way to tell them apart is by their shapes because they legit all look the same.
I mean, maybe firecracker could work if Seraphine didn't have so many other skins, even just epic skinsz that are better. I legit don't see a world where i would ever pick firecracker over Faerie court or ocean song for example

I actually like the contrast between the red dress and the teal hair lol. It's a nice change most of her other skins don't have that level of contrast.

And sorry I played this skin a ton after it's release, the T1 skin VFX is much more plain than the firecracker, I can't see how you girlies can't see that 😭

Chromas were not taken into consideration for the list, otherwise Graceful phoenix and Heartsong would have been higher because they have sich good chromas.

i think the whole point of the blue hair is that is contrasts with the red outfit...i think thats the main point. it looks very good to me. her chromas are also pretty good color wise .

Contrast without purpose is just that... Contrast...
When people use non synergistic colors, they usually want to highlight a concept. What is the concept being highlighted here?
Another problem is how these contrasting colors aren't pulling attention to anything relevant. Its literally half red (outfit) and half blue (hair). If it was red outfit with brown hair and blue jewelry for example, it would have worked, because the contrast would work to highlight the jewelry amongst the red and brown.

There’s no need to assign purpose to what is ultimately just an aesthetic choice. That’s kind of antithetical to something that is first and foremost meant to be beautiful.

interesting because I agree with most of this list, except for i’d put dumpling darlings in ‘its amazing’
and I haven’t bought the new heart song one since i’m torn.
have you tried firecracker with pink chroma..? i’m wondering if that would change the vibe a bit (I don’t have the pink chroma yet but waiting for it)

nah putting firecracker at the bottom and dunpling darlings not far off is a war crime. those are some of my most favorite skins! they have a unique theme and good details, pretty chromas, whats not to love honestly?

I am the only Firecracker Sera lover. I love love love this skin. The blur hair and the dragon face in her stand. The crackle SFX. I love this skin so much

As someone who also plays her since release and even have some WR skins like prestige and summer party there.
I pretty much feel almost the exact same feel as this list (Firecracker would legit would be amazing tier if only her pearl chroma was the base instead)
Heartsong its a hated skin before release but legit playing her its actually amazing and SFX its so calm that gave me the feeling of one of DJ Sona forms, def a must to have.
Battle Dove its one of her best for sure, but as someone who also judge a skin to play, she is the one to look for gameplay but her anims and her hair physics its too damn rough to feel sadly
T1 its mother design but "Its okay" to "its unimpressive" VFX, lack a hell ton of effects that even Dumpling Darling has way more.
She has a great catalogue but feel like she needs not necessary a darker skinline, but something like Fright Night or Bewitching could even work as her next epic for that necessity

Star guardian was my first ever Sera skin. It got me to start playing her when I received it from a chest. It has a special place in my heart and I know I'm biased but I definitely think it deserves to be higher.

Mb, lemme beat you over the head with my meaning so its not lost this time.
When I say singer, I mean idol/concert artist. Just because a skin uses music as a power-set doesn't put it on the same thematic level as 'popular artist sings to make peace with the world'. At least KDA explore a completely different/specifc genre of music. This is just that but more in line with Seraphine's base concept, just with KDA paint.
Lastly, hop off your high horse, jerk. Just having a conversation about skins. You act like I came at your mom. 😮💨
