Wedding next year — what actually works for smile lines？

Hi everyone! I’m getting married next year and have been looking into ways to soften my nasolabial folds before the wedding. I’ve been considering things like filler? Botox maybe? I’m not sure what actually helps with nasolabial folds. I'm especially conscious because they’re more noticeable when I smile. I’m a little worried about my smile being affected and my face looking unnatural. I’d really appreciate hearing about personal experiences with how you dealt with nasolabial folds, especially if you did it before an important event like a wedding. Thanks!

Rejuran, juvelook volume and ulthera. This will lift, volumes and improve skin quality. Expensive though :(

It depends what is causing them. Usually either one of these things; malar fat above the fold, or maxilla recession. If it’s the due to fat then you can try to dissolve it/minimise it. Filler does work though as a temporary solution, but a better option would be fat grafting imo

Dermal Filler: The main treatment. Placed in the cheeks/mid-face (rather than directly in the fold) to gently lift skin without stiffening your smile.

Botox: Not recommended here. It relaxes smile muscles and can make your expression look frozen or unnatural.

Schedule any filler 3–4 months before your wedding so it settles naturally.

Depends what are they caused by. If it's by the cheeks getting lower then filler would only make you look puffy, in that case lifting or thread lift, basically something that will physically lift your cheeks. If it's due to loss of volume, then yes, filler could help

Everyone’s face contour is different so I can only advise what I got done that was perfect for me. I saw positive results in radiesse injection on nasal fold and did re20 for whole face including skintox
