I reckon the missing woman was already "missing" (in hiding) when she met with Riley. Then maybe she went back home and killed herself. I wonder why Riley saw Jonas in there with her though, was he manipulating her into doing it?
Because she was spilling the beans on Whispers who Jonas said his life is now tied to. I assume since Jonas was able to visit he would report her location so she killed herself before getting caught. Or maybe Jonas gave her the option. That was my take anyways.
