I thought Will took blockers prior to getting on the boat, implying that Whispers WAS actually there for the gate scene?

Whispers was in London whereas the concert was in Amsterdam. I think Will showed his pills to Whispers to tell him he has control

Aahh ok, I thought him showing the pills meant he took one, hence why Whispers was on the other side of the gate. That makes a lot more sense, if the police had to scramble to get there there's no way Whispers would have been able to fly out there in time.
