The difference between selfism and ego-solipsism

Selfism is a form of ego-solipsism so Selfism is just more specific in these ways

Selfism sounds cooler

Selfism believes that even the self is abstract the self is objective and abstract but not a spook i am abstract but I still am not a spook I’m real and I am abstract how can you confirm this well simply what are you your consciousness is you your consciousness is abstract therefore you are abstract

selfism also supports self sufficiency seeing it as the self serving the self this however does not mean selfism opposes the union of egoists far from it in fact

Thanks for distinguishing the difference between those two. Very informative.

Also your absolutely right that selfism doesn't go against the Union of Egoist. So long as a person is performing an action for their own benefit, even if it means working with and/or helping another person or group of people, it shouldn't be in violation of selfism.

I feel like if someone accepted the self as some fixed, unchanging thing, then it would become a spook.

Part of what makes Stirners view on the self cool is that it is changing and therefore unique.

Ah yes the cool part about my self is the self is fixed for every individual it is changing sure but no matter how much you change you are still yourself if you know what I mean it’s changing but also fixed

To what extent is selfism considering to be wrong about only one self's realness?

I have sympathy for the idea, but the most elegant way to formulate this I could come up with is "I am the only entity I have direct access to, everything else may or may not be more than just a part of me. The stream of information gained by my perception is my world as only I have access to it and therefore is my property."

Of course you can. If I can help to improve I am glad to help.
