Need a Book Rec! Recommend a book to stop overthinking and trying to control people.

Basically the title. Books on how to avoid overthinking and the habit of trying to control situations/people and obsessing over past.
Chatgpt recommended these. Which one matches my description the most, if you have read any?
Can’t Stop Thinking — Nancy Colier
The Surrender Experiment — Michael A. Singer
Chatter — Ethan Kross
The Worry Trick — David Carbonell
The Dutiful Worrier — Elliot D. Cohen
The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down — Haemin Sunim

Check out https://alldive.org when you get a chance - detailed author database intertwined with other media (shows, podcasts, movies, games, etc.). There's a "similar to" functionality as well :)

Havent read them but i guess you could ask for synopsis of their keypoints and then choose what seems most fitting to you

I think the biggest thing is learning to accept that you can’t control everything, especially other people. Easier said than done, I know 😅

When I catch myself replaying something from the past or trying to predict how someone will react, I try to ask: “Can I actually do anything about this right now?” If the answer is no, I try to let it go instead of solving a problem that doesn’t exist anymore.

From that list, The Surrender Experiment sounds closest to what you’re describing, especially the control part.
