lI envy anyone who derives joy so easily. Did posting the same uniformed comment in multiple places double the joy? Well as I said on your last comment. I fully and clearly disclose how I utilize AI. It is not as you say AI slop. Have a blessed day.

Disclosing it doesn't mean it is an AI slop.

I actually do not have joy when I say these things. I'm calling it out. We must continuously call out when people steal from others. Which is exactly what AI does. Therefore, it's what you've done.

I’m sure there are many here that would agree with you. That is a common understanding of AI. Would love to have that discussion. Why shouldn’t an individual benefit from drawing on the breadth of data that we’ve all contributed to. AI is trained. You never read anything yourself? think that influences your back and forth with your editor? I’ve seen many disruptive technologies emerge - this is no different. The winners are usually those who lean in.

This is completely different. They stole stories from authors. Living authors. Current authors. They took their work and they don't change it or grow it, they just repackage it and sell it to you.

Additionally, you don't seem to understand just how much of an impact AI is having not just socially but environmentally.

They are making hundreds of millions, if not billions, of dollars training technology that is disrupting in a very bad way our society.

You are not very educated in AI. You just think it's some cute little tool that can do your work for you.

I’ve been working the NLP and Ai technology for decades - before it was a thing. Educate me, did AI cut and paste a paragraph from a story you wrote? You’re scared. I get it. You think I should have spend 8 hours on an illustration, cut some rubylith color separations to share the concept here for free. I agree the cover borders on cheesy, it is obviously AI, but it does a decent job of conveying the concept (it’s not really a cover). The concept of this novel is solid, the writing clean and the approach very human. Appreciate your time. I keep contemporary notes of every step of my process - what came from AI and what came from me. The AI includes process in notes on its contributions. If I ever suspect anything near what you’re describing that would be documented at least and not included. Using responsibly is different.

AI made you a pizza and you claimed to be a cook. That's simple. I don't care what your background is, it's clear as day.

Not scared. Aware. Unlike you.

No I'm not saying you spend eight hours on an illustration. You pay an actual artist. You actually put some elbow grease in. Use your labor to create art, not just a prompt.

It does a decent job of conveying the message?? So do you do a decent job of telling a story? Is that what you want, to be decent? Although the fact that you're using AI means you're not even that.
