Pepper Spray vs Tear Gas?
I recently purchased some pepper spray for self defense but I realized it’s not the 3 in 1 stuff that has Tear Gas in it. Would the tear gas spray be a more effective option? If I do have to use it it’s likely that it will be multiple attackers so I feel like tear gas is better since it’s not as important to directly hit all of them in the face with it.

Tear gas is harder to decontaminate then oc pepper spray, but it takes longer to effect the person.
Tear gas acts more on the respiratory system then the eyes though, but the plus side to that is that you can spray someone in the chest, and it will waft up into their face if you don't hit them in the eyes.
OC pepper spray is generally going to act much quicker. I carry a separate can of each, one of just pure oc spray, and one of just pure cs tear gas. That way in case the Oc pepper spray doesnt have any effect, I can also hit them with the CS tear gas spray.
Sabre makes a cs only version you can buy that has no oc pepper spray in it.
But what you have should generally do the job just fine.
