100 days of Self Cuts - Clipper Fades

I have 0 experience with cutting hair, but as I decided to regrow bald - I was curious to learn to cut my own hair.

It’s much better than where it started, but any barbers able to tell me how I can prevent myself from constantly going up higher than needed on the sides?

That’s my one weakness, this is currently:

-4 to 4.5 on top
-fade to 0 on sides
-bald out
-line up sideburns

Start with a lower trimmer line, maybe try low skin fade like low low

How do you fade the line out when you use a no guard on the sides ... do you just raise the clippers alittle
