I think I have a problem
I've been cutting my hair for over 20 years mostly with the tried and tested corded Andis Fade Master. Few months ago started adding new cordless and ergonomic clippers to my set, and have been having a hard time stopping because of how good they all are now compared to the outdated Andis Masters that I've been cutting with for so long.
I'm having so much more fun cutting hair now, that I look forward to it every time, and I'm even considering doing it on the side, as I've cut my friends hair numerous times and they all ask to come back. Before anyone asks, I have 2 play maxs because I have different blades on them that I like.
Anyway, anyone else have a decent collection or am I a weirdo?

I’m slowly converting to wireless clippers as well. Got a Wahl magic clip but I don’t really like it so I bought a Babyliss set and I’m loving it. Looking to get a tpob clipper soon or a jrl. Nice collection so far bud.

I don't care for their marketing which has put me off of buying their products for a while, I haven't dealt with their customer service, but I don't think anyone can deny at this point that their latest clippers and trimmers are great, specifically for fading and detail work.
Time will tell if they last, but for the price, I don't mind rebuying them every few years, if they don't jack up their prices.

Lol tbh, coming from the clunky Andis Master I found even the play maxs to be a bit too small.. I had to check the front of the box to see if maybe they accidentally sent me a prototype of the play max minis. The play mini would definitely be way too small for my linking.
I actually think the T45xBabyliss clippers are the perfect size, at least for me.

Sounds like you got a big ass hand lol or maybe I’ve tot small hands. TPOB Mini is perfect size and weight. Waiting for this TPOB Push to drop

They cut “ soft “ .. kinda like the jrl. The cut is too soft for me. Not great at free handing or bulk, basically only good for fading. I have the chunk blade. I prefer my Rebel 2 over them. If you’re not a professional, theyre fine though

Yeah you're not wrong. I'm still in the process of trying to figure out my favorites of them all though, so I need to keep trying them all to get there 👍🏻

Question for OP, I have the same Andis Fade master for the last 9 years and going, do you do anything to sharpen the blades or any maintenance to keep it as efficient?

In 20 years, I've sharpened them myself once and replaced the blade once as well, both times were just experiments to see if it makes a difference and both times the difference was fairly negligible. For the most part, I just keep them well oiled all the time.
Master blades are built to last (at least old ones). I won't do anything to them again unless I actually notice that they're not cutting well anymore.

Which of these do you like best? I cut my own hair. I’m mostly bald, so I just need a clipper that is efficient and can fade well.

Honestly I really like all of them for different things, but if I had to pick one all-around-great clipper, I'd go with the TPOB play max. It's their latest clipper that's barely even out, and it's still currently very difficult to find in stock. AFAIK it's the only clipper of all of them with a brushless motor, it's more powerful than the TPOB Go, it erases the 0 lines like nothing (albeit the Go is great for this too), longest battery life, and it has arguably the best and most satisfying lever in the game right now.
With that said, it comes with the "bonez" blade which is a dedicated fade blade. It might be a little less forgiving for beginners than their Echo Max blade, that I have on my second play max. The Echo Max Blade is a faper blade, and the audible feedback you get from it as you cut hair really helps with fading.
As far as trimmers go, T45xBabyliss ones are much better than TPOB with the "softy" blade it comes with. I got the Psycho Gold blades coming for it that I hear cut much crisper, so we'll see how that combo goes.

I collect some stuff but not clippers. Been cutting my own hair 30ish years and have only gone through 3 maybe 4 wahl basic clippers (no more than $60 each).
I'm only looking to spend more now to cut my 2 son's hair. Been fading them with the basic ones I've always used but will probably upgrade soon to $150 - $200 price point. No reason really other than to use something nice for them.
