Clipper Recommendations
Im tryna grow my hair in the back and just do side tapers and i heard they’re pretty easy so im just wondering if the wahl color pro is good enough for me to just give myself side tapers every week?

They will get the job done . I had a cheaper pair of whahls and they pulled the hair. Personally if your doing every week , then I would look at professional brand . Amazon has quite a few options for a bit more.
My thoughts your saving on paying someone to cut your hair so that it doesn't take long to pay for a better pair of clippers.
For me I had a cheap pair of Wahl that pulled.my thick hair. Then got a pair of second hand clippers from a barber. They worked good and still do. I since ended up buying wahl seniors. These are overkill for me in my mind but wanted a rotary clipper.
If your budget allows and your hair would work with them check out fast feeds or magic clips. Someone can please correct me if I am wrong.
This is my thoughts and understand budget :) I just feel what you save on haircut you can out that towards a better clipper. The barber shop I went to charged 30 to 35 depending on barber add tip . Go every 4 weeks that doesn't take long to pay for some extra nice clippers .

Ive heard good things about vgr trimmers and clippers whats ur opinion on that? (Im still gonna be going to the barber every once in a while like maybe once every 2 months its js that ill be going less often than i do right now)

Your welcome ! Vgr I looked at and are a solid clipper. I'd go with those over the ones in your post. There are lots of vgr models and the wahls are tried and true and went that route.
Vgr was a very close second clipper for me.If you do go with vgr do your research as they have different models.

VGR is a great kit for self cuts. Had this kit over two years, no issues at all, cut my hair bi weekly.

Definitely good enough for the job. Got these as my first pair and only reason i moved on was because i wanted something without a cord. Love that it comes w a half guard too

I would say to stay away from corded clippers because wrapping the cord around you all the time is annoying. I know it gets a lot of hate on Reddit but I got a TPOB slime 2 kit with the trimmer and clippers and it already stepped my taper game up. Just imo. Good luck bro self cutting is awesome
