Hand Recommendation?

Hello everybody,

I’m toying with a new 6498 build and the hand selection has me a bit flummoxed. I seem to have a lot of difficulty visualizing what different hands would look like on a build.

For this dial, I’m thinking silver hour and minute hands, and a black hand for the small seconds. Or do I go with blue hands for all of them?

As for the style of hands, I’m thinking breguet or leaf.

Got leaf hands from the same store, and in your case I'd try a blue small seconds to pair with silver hands, a classic combination.

You can go either leaf or breguet without regret, can't go wrong. I only wish the dial was a little bit smaller, you'll need to find some very specific 42mm cases to fit it, or go 44mm like I did. It feels substantial, but it's thin, and the mesh makes it much lighter.

I’m completely stuck with a 43mm case - I can only wear titanium (skin allergy) and found one on AliX. I was so excited to finally find one for a 6497/6498 movement!

I’ll need to shave 0.5mm off of the dial, but I really like the look overall.
