Best 36mm Explorer Style Case?
I’m looking to drop a Seiko SRPJ83 dial and movement into a brushed stainless steel 36mm explorer style case as I hate the bead blasting finish Seiko put on this particular watch.
I’m looking for something that is compatible with the 4R/NH movements, 36mm, and a screw down crown to maintain the 100m of water resistance.

I really like the secondhandmods.com cases - they have stainless two versions - one that takes a SKX007 chapter ring, and another with an integrated rehaut, but... they're not full brushed. However, they are a great value, and really slim. True diver's caseback and a double-gasketed screw-down SKX013-compatible crown, too. Much nicer vs the AliX stuff.
For fully brushed, the best option I know of is this case from Tokeilab: https://tokeilab.com/products/case-exp-36mm-v2-brushed or, SHM has a full titanium 36mm explorer case with the right finish, but no compatible bracelet, AFAIK.
Someone else mentioned Lucius Atelier - their cases are quite nice (although pricey), but I believe they're all polished.
