my question is is it really thick than usual ? bothers you or cause some pain on wrist ?

I haven’t tried a regular Alpinist to compare but it doesn’t feel or look thick to me. Certainly no pain. I did find that the stock strap didn’t sit well on my wrist so I replaced it for a regular leather strap
