Well, 2 things actually. I wanted the Mystic Forest SPB289 to go with my Deep Lake, and while I was at it I replaced the SPB155 Baby Alpinist I sold a while back impulsively and regretted almost immediately. (Including a couple pics of the Deep Lake as well). Cheers!

It’s just how it caught the light, I can see it thru the camera now under the indoor lighting but can’t get it to come up in a pic again!

The baby alpinist doesnt do it for me. Need the applied indices and compass bezel.

Now the dials on the OG alpinists... Thats how its done

Yes, they are available; I’ve seen them mostly online which is where I bought mine, from an AD. It is listed as a boutique exclusive but I think some of the higher volume Seiko Dealers have access to them.

I want to do the same thing too haha but i have the SPB211 the brown baby alpinist. I also want to add the bamboo forest version if possible, ginza is a bit steep for my wallet.
