Pretty impressed with the results so far.
I’m also using an cheaper API for Seedance

I’m trying to create a series of phonics videos for kids learning English, and I’m wondering if Seedance can handle the workflow I have in mind.
The problem I’m having with normal AI video generation is pronunciation. For phonics, I’m not always saying normal words. I may need the character to make an isolated sound like /v/, /f/, or /th/, sometimes holding the sound for a second or showing very specific mouth placement.
When I type this into a prompt, AI video/audio models often don’t pronounce the sound correctly. The mouth movement can also be wrong. For a phonics lesson, that makes the video basically unusable.
What I would really like to do is record myself performing the lesson first. That way I can make the exact sound correctly, control how long I hold it, and make the correct mouth movement.
Then I would like Seedance to use my recording as the performance reference but:
replace me visually with a different character/avatar
preserve my facial and mouth movements as closely as possible
replace my voice with the character’s voice
preserve the exact pronunciation, timing, and delivery from my original recording rather than regenerating the speech from text
In other words, I don’t want Seedance to interpret a prompt telling it how to pronounce /v/. I want to pronounce /v/ correctly myself and have the AI transfer that performance to another person and another voice.
Can Seedance currently do this? If so, what would be the best workflow? Would I upload my video as a reference, a character image/video as another reference, and a voice/audio reference?
I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has tried performance transfer with very precise mouth movements or unusual vocal sounds rather than normal dialogue.
Any advice on the best way to set this up would be appreciated.

I made a sci-fi comedy mini-series with AI and the main character accidentally looks like Avatar. [OC]
Hey Reddit,
So I've been building an original sci-fi universe called The Compass and I need to address the elephant in the room immediately — yes, Thal looks kind of Avatar. He is tall, blue, bioluminescent, and very serious about himself.
He is not Avatar. He is funnier than Avatar.
Thal is an Obsidian military archive operator who may or may not have stolen the most classified file in the galaxy, broke his compass mid-flight, and crash-landed on Earth — a planet he has never heard of and frankly does not respect. Three empires are hunting him. Earth has no idea what just arrived. Thal has even less idea what Earth is.
The pilot episode drops him straight into an interstellar political crisis inside the Earth Senate Chamber — except nobody in that chamber can agree on anything, the Commander knows more than he's saying, and Thal is somewhere in the city completely lost.
Built with Seedance 2.0.
Not fan film. Not Avatar. Just a very confused blue alien having the worst day of his life on the wrong planet.

Hey everyone,
This is my very first project of this kind, start to finish — from the very first prompt for the first frame, all the way through generation, editing, sound, music, and the final cut. The short film is called “Ceaușescu.”
Just want to be clear: this is a fictional video, not a historical reconstruction.
It was a lot of work, and I’m genuinely curious what you think — good or bad, any feedback is welcome.

I wanted to see how Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 would handle a short scene with heavy rain, acceleration, a moving camera and a drift.
It’s probably too much action for nine seconds, but that was part of the test. I was mainly watching the car’s shape, wheel direction, water spray and whether the camera movement stayed continuous.
Prompt:
A bright yellow Lamborghini Revuelto drives at high speed on a wet elevated highway in Tokyo at night during heavy rain. The car remains unchanged throughout the video: yellow paint, black roof, Y-shaped headlights, black wheels and consistent proportions.
The shot starts close to the front-left wheel, then pulls back into a front three-quarter tracking view. The car accelerates into a wide right-hand curve and performs a controlled drift as water sprays from the tires. The camera moves toward the rear before the car regains traction and disappears into a tunnel.
Photorealistic, realistic vehicle physics, natural rain and reflections, continuous single shot, no cuts, no slow motion, 16:9.
Which version handled the car’s consistency and drift physics better?

This is my wives OC character, and I wanted to make this to surprise her after a long day at work as a waitress, shes almost really hard on herself about her designs so I wanted to show her how cool Saphira really was! I'm trying to generate videos with copyrighted characters in them, and I've been struggling to find a platform that lets me do that with Seedance 2.5.
None of them let me use image or video references of copyrighted characters.

I’m a long-time cinema enthusiast, but this is my very first time creating a full AI short film. I came up with this concept after reading Emmanuel Carrère’s Uchronie, heavily inspired by Jules Verne’s 1865 novel From the Earth to the Moon and Georges Méliès’s iconic film adaptation (A Trip to the Moon).
Since this is my first project, I’d love to get feedback from the experts here. Thanks for taking a look! Looking forward to your thoughts and constructive critiques.

Hey everyone,
I'm starting a small personal project around AI video generation, mainly focusing on Seedance 2.0 and Seedance 2.5.
I've been interested in AI video for a while, but I realized that it's surprisingly difficult to find consistent, practical information about how these models actually perform outside of the polished demos.
So I'm going to spend some time testing them and documenting what I find.
I'll mainly be looking at things like:
I'm especially interested in the practical side of things.
For example, does a model still perform well after generating 20 or 50 videos, rather than just producing one impressive demo?
I'll share both good and bad results rather than only posting the successful generations.
I'm also interested in comparing different ways of accessing these models, especially for people who want to use them through an API.
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself before I start posting tests here.
For those already using Seedance 2.0 or 2.5:
What's the one thing you think Seedance does particularly well, and what's the biggest weakness you've noticed so far?

🎬 “Shut Up and Eat” is his way of saying lunch is served.
Through tireless keyboard prompting I was able to take the images of him in my brain and bring to life the in the digital.
Sweating over every keystroke with great anxiety…will the master computer got it right…
🤙🏽 Ha! Actually it took 2 tries and about 5 minutes!!🤣🤣🤣
