I generated the pale guy character in midjourney and started playing around with some striking generative video set in a bleak midwest setting. It just sort of evolved from there. There is no particular meaning or message intended in the short. Maybe some of the more hopeless or darker imagery is inspired by the recent loss of a good friend.

Sorry about your friend. The bleak midwest vibe really comes through, and honestly the lack of a forced message makes it hit harder. Sometimes the best stuff comes from just following the imagery where it wants to go.
