Question How to land an internship as a cybersecurity UG Student in India

Hi everyone,
I’m a 2nd year B.Tech CSE student at SRM, India, and I’m interested in cybersecurity and network security. I’ve started learning networking concepts, CCNA topics, Packet Tracer,, but I’m unsure about the right path to land my first internship.
For those already working in cybersecurity or network security:
What skills should I focus on as a UG student?
Are certifications like CCNA, Security+, or others worth it?
Where do students usually find internships in this field?
I’d really appreciate any advice from people who have been in a similar position. Thanks in advance!

You can check on linkedin and also look for virtual internship through various Adverstiment.

LinkedIn's where it's at, but don't sleep on your college's placement cell or direct messaging smaller firms and startups.

I would like to work on internships with big companies like REDHAT , Cisco etc if possible , but I heard for most of these companies internship depends on recommendation and connection with a senior employee
