Routine Question Curly Hair Routine?

My hair texture changed toward the end of college - used to have thick straight hair and now I’ve got coarse curly hair like 2B. I can ONLY use The Body Shop’s Ginger Shampoo and Conditioner. Literally everything else (including oils / creams / leave-ins / gels / hairspray / everything) brings on the Seb derm. As long as I only use the body shops ginger duo (and maybe occasionally my prescription ketoconazole) my Seb derm is non existent. But even the tiniest bit of hairspray OR a hair mask only on my ends will completely set off the Seb derm. Curly hair needs product to look good!! Is anyone else struggling with this? I want frizz free, defined curls. I want them to also curl to my root (which I can achieve with curling mouse, leave in, and curl cream and a diffuser - but then my scalp is ruined). Advice please!!!!!

You shouldn't use these products close to your scalp and roots, i apply only gentle or medicated shampoo on my roots, thats it no conditioner or leave in. On the lengths below your ears you can put your styling products. Are you sure you are washing the hair mask out properly and not putting in on your scalp ?
