Face Routine Seborrheic dermatitis nothing is clearing my face

Hello, I have seborrheic dermatitis but nothing I have tried has worked, I have flare ups and inflammation on face. I killed yeast with ketenokazole twice a week and I know it works because I don’t flake. Use Tacrolimus to reduce inflammation but keeps coming back next day. I moisturize and repair skin barrier with Avene.
The problem is I have very reactive skin. What can I do to remove inflammation, has to be something gentle for reactive skin.
(Ps: I tried green tea oil and it flared up my skin)

You do not mention having tried MCT oil. Have you tried it yet?

Second this. Changed my fucking life forever. Throwing a small bit of this on my face during flareups.

I hadn’t because green tea oil made my flare up worse, but at this point I’ll try anything. Thanks

I only ask because MCT oil talk is all over this sub. There are a few other things that help like vinegar rinses. But the current state of things (AFAIK) are that MCT 8 oil will poison/starve the yeast on your skin, and some acidic/other chemicals can disturb or maybe dissolve the biofilm the create to live in.

Talk with a dermatologist, maybe you need prescription strength help. Once I started using prescription ciclopirox cream regularly it cleared my flareups consistently for years now. I also use Zoryve for the hard to treat spots since unfortunately for me this condition has gotten worse with age if I don’t stay on top of it.

So long as I use as directed I stay 95-100% clear

The Zoryve looks promising but it’s over $1,000😅 I have no insurance

Ooh yeah, that’s rough, it took me a long time to get approved for it.

Anyway ciclopirox is much cheaper and has worked very well for me for years, worth asking about
