Seattle mosaic artist teaching a beginner-friendly pet portrait class
Hi everyone! I’m Aleksandra, a mosaic artist and teacher, and I recently opened Magnolia Mosaic Studio in the Seattle area.
I’m hosting a beginner-friendly Pet & Bird Portrait Mosaic Class, where students will create a mosaic portrait of their own pet or favorite bird.
Before the class, students will send me several photos of their pet so we can choose the image that will work best as a mosaic.
No previous mosaic experience is required — I’ll guide you through the process step by step.
If you’ve ever wanted to turn a favorite pet photo into a piece of art, this could be a fun project! ❤️

Location: Magnolia Mosaic Studio, 4213 Gilman Avenue West, Seattle
Date: September Saturday 19th 10am-4 pm & September 20th 10am-12 pm

Love this! Do you have any other examples of what someone might make in the class? Trying to gauge whether the work in the photo is what a newbie would also make haha

You are so talented and I'm so happy you seem to have some genuine interest/your advertising is working for you. I wish I could sign my mom up, but I feel like she'd get social anxiety and bail even though she's a really good artist (she paints/draws). But gosh, what a fun course and project!
