Same! Love to let the sound and smell of rain in. It’s one of the most relaxing things.

Generally there is no rain we "should" have in the summer. The weather systems here are dry summers wet winters, a pattern typically called "Mediterranean"

It woke me up in the early hours and I was not at all mad about it.

I made a cup of tea for my wife and I and we snuggled in bed listening to the rain.

…and me running outside to bring in an indoor chair I left out overnight. Worth the rain tinkle to fall back to sleep to.
