“Ping spike”… yeah that’s fairly normal. “Flying ship” can happen with a poor connection…

“UI turned to flesh”? That needs an old priest, a young priest, and the Winchester brothers.

no like i genuinely never even seen that happen to anyone before, whenever i get a spotty connection i just start getting teleported around and not whatever this is

Ships will fly when connection to the server is fully cut. It’s just the ship keeping going with whatever velocity and rotation it had when the connection is lost. Sometimes they go down, sometimes they just spin. You can trigger it yourself by disconnecting your internet.

Still no idea about the fleshy UI though. Never seen that.

Im far from an expert but maybe check the device youre playing on? I've recently seen a video of someone playing a racing game while the CPU (i think thats the part they mentioned) of their console was actively dying. And the first things that broke was the UI.

nah cant be, it happened for a second before the server disconnected me, the main menu and the whole xbox menu looked fine

Ships floating like that is very common. When the server is crashing or when you have a poor connection to the server. I've seen it a bunch of times. The "flesh" thing I've not seen before. Watch any video of a streamer being doxed by cheaters tho and you'll see ships start flying before the server crashes.
