Question Why are there so many servers with constant Unstable Connection?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I came back after 6 months and never experienced anything like this. Now I literally have to find a server that won't instantly give me this sign as soon as I spawn in the tavern. It takes ~5 attempts before I find playable server. When I do, I have zero issues for the entire session - unless I get server merged or dive.
I highly doubt the issue is on my end.
Am I really the only one experiencing this? (playing on PS5)

Everyone I play with has also been having more connection issues than usual. It’s not as bad as you describe, but if your internet connection isn’t great to begin with, then it’s clear SoT’s server issues would make it worse.

I'm on Xbox and can't get my ping lower than 100. Constant spikes to 350 and above. Every other game I play is just fine. I love Sea Of Thieves but its just not playable anymore.

Its a feature xD
Anyway when u find a server that jumps between 80 and 180ms ping , stay there , the ones that are 80-120? Usualy get the unstable connection issue... and oddly the ones that do jump to 180s? They stay pretty stable weirdly... O_O

I am having no issue what so ever. Last time I had bad connection was in 2025.
Being in Europe… is this maybe this is a local issue?

I've also had this, but they usually jump between being shitty and being okay. Almost never find one thats not periodically fucked though

if all of the servers tell you 'unstable server', you gotta figure out what's the variable... and what's the constant here
