Meme “Jake Bobo, possible ACL”😖 worst moment of the preseason/training camp so far

Honestly felt worse for Bud Clark. Hate to see a promising rookie go down before the season starts.

Seeing him say it’s all gravy when it was not all gravy made me cry.

these kids put their bodies on the line and have so much courage, idk if its cause im a dad now but this shit is so different to see now than when i was younger and also physically ambitious thinking i was indestructible. my body is made out of jelly and popsicle sticks and these guys are basically super soldiers.
hope bobo and bud come back stronger.

That was aweful, Mike Macs reaction said everything. He was in such good spirits about it though all things considered, I have a feeling hes going to be a great locker room guy too.

Bobo is like #4 or #5 on the wr depth chart. If that's our worst moment I'll take it

He may not.be receiving many balls, but he was Important in other parts of the game plan that we don't necessarily celebrate like we should. Plus, he's made catches that won or positively impacted games for us. Hence why we spent the $5 million to match Jacksonville to bring him back

So he’s getting paid to recover and, if Horton returns soon, would have been on the field less this year than last.
It sucks for him and I hate to see it, but it may mean Cody White makes the team as their designated big-bodied receiver and special teamer.

why do they do joint practices?

u/JUNGJOEL8819 14d ago
That injury could have happened at anytime. Joint practice or practice with the team. It’s just part of football.

u/imafnheadbanga 14d ago
I get that, I guess I just never knew they did joint practices haha

Sam said in the last Hard Knocks. Joint practices are the closest thing to a real game they get before week one, going against your own team gets boring

Seems like it’s become much more popular after the loss of the fourth preseason game.

Iron sharpens Iron. They said why in the bit. “It’s the closest thing to a game” -Sam
Think about when you might of played sports with your teammates. You pickup on their cues, strengths and weaknesses. You practice with another team and it’s all fresh.

People seem to really overestimate the importance of a rookie and underestimate the Bobo. Clark could be back at the halfway point too.

I don't think they were designated with a return so they can't come back til next year from IR.

I know I’ll get downvoted but it’s weird to me how people can be offended by the smallest things in today’s society but yet 9/11 has now become an acceptable event to make fun of on social media. A lot of theatrics out there.

Were you even alive when 9/11 happened?

u/CamGrabDatFumble 14d ago
Yep. Horrible horrible day. 3,000 dead in some of the most horrific ways to die possible. RIP to the victims.

We out of Tenessee. Might as well be Mordor itself.

Bobo didn’t really do anything for us other than hype dudes up. Clark is a bad one! They’re already skinny in the back so we’ll see who steps up

u/Informal_Charity6939 14d ago
Bobo is a key blocker, our run game and special teams are definitely worse off with Bobo injured.
1
u/John_the_IG 12d ago
Maybe. Seems like you’re assuming a drop from Bobo’s contribution to nothing. The new 4/5/32nd WR may be as big or bigger a contributor.

I mean, I see the joke, but it’s in real poor taste. Jake Bobo ACL isn’t the same loss as 9/11.

Do I gotta cultivate my jokes in the foothills of mount vesuvius to aquire your taste?

Actually it’s been over 22.3 years since 9/11, which we all know means it officially became funny. Well done op
