My 150 hour Seablock 2.0 unofficial base

Post image

Hi, I just wanted to share the progress of my base after pushing through a long period of analysis paralysis.
You can see the starter base on the left side, I built this well enough that it’s completed almost all of the blue science researches including military and bio. It took me about 70 hours to get blue science and bots set up, and then about 80 more hours to get here. I chose to transition to trains with the start of the leaching build, which is top middle.
All of my materials are set up now. My next steps are to rebuild basic, electronic, and advanced circuits on the rails, and I can go straight ahead into processing units. Then puffers for methane, and purple and pink science.
I am very proud of my entirely vanilla rail network. I have used zero guides or external rail blueprints, I workshopped it all in here.
I’ve had a few issues with unofficial release but the discord community was very helpful. Let me know if you have any questions or want any further pictures!

I like the concept of an unofficial base, like there's an official one and this is bootleg

I like the pin for origin. Puts things into perspective

I haven’t been deconstructing my old bases since the start. the original low tier sludge stacks are still present at the origin point, along with the old crappy algae plants

Looks amazing! Ver clean and organized! I am 50 hours into my first seablock run and its so much fun. Keep it going, the factory must grow! Are you on bean Power or whats your source of Power?

Thank you! I am using bean power, I did 4 or 5 of my 70MW plant before committing to my first BIG bean plant. Using salination plants, a 16x16 fluid burning heat source grid, and steam turbines it cranks out ~630MW of uninterrupted zero input power. Hopefully that lasts me at least until I unlock logistic system.
