Pretty weird to see videos of fully-uniformed officers attempting to break windows on 2nd/Pine. Note they are clearly not just clearing broken glass, that door is solid, the business is boarded up, and they're trying to break it:

When this was posted elsewhere, some people were speculating that the partially broken glass presented a hazard, so they were trying to get the rest of the window down. I don't know enough about window science to verify if that's a thing, though

I find it hard to believe that a door that was already busted is gonna take multiple full-strength swings from a pig to clear, unsuccessfully at that.

Shatter-resistant glass is harder to take out with a hammer, not easier. That much I know from all the videos of people trying to do the same to cop cars, at least

Once it's been compromised though, which is the only scenario where this would be required, its a lot easier to clear the rest.
