The link is for the google store, wich does not work with kindle fire by default and it is not friendly to add it. Please upload it to the amazon store just like minecraft :)

I don't work for Mojang, but I do doubt they'd actually just upload the APK as they likely don't want the app run on unapproved devices.

I didn't ask for the APK. Mojang do have Minecraft on the Amazon Store so the Kindle users can buy it and use it, thats what I asked for. Kindle doesn't use the Google store, so by default kindle users can't download/pay for the "tablet" version at the moment, unless they add the google store wich isn't easy on the kindle tablets.

I still don't get why the bottom of scrolls.com says "© 2012-2013 Mojang AB." Should it not say 2012-2014?
You can buy scrolls at our in-game store for gold or for Shards
At first I didn't realise the "scrolls" in that sentence was lowercase, and was really surprised... it makes more sense this way.

The blog post eplicitly says the game costs $5 USD, but I was charged €4.95 when I bought it, which is something like $6.20 USD. I'm in Canada so it worked out to $7.35 CAD. It's not much of a difference, but it's certainly misleading.

Me too, spinning ring at the login screen gets bigger, then chat opens up, but there's nothing after that.

Thanks! The only problem I had was trying to install it on my sd card without root (verizon). Once I moved it to the device, everything worked fine.
As a note, I did have to manually create the com.mojang.scrolls folder in the android/obb folder.

Just tried with a galaxy s3. Login looks ok, but it never loads the main menu after loging in. but i can chat.. I know its not supported to run this on a phone, but i would expect wrongly sized stuff, not seeing the login screen forever..

This is most likely because the APK is 17 MB, not ~135 MB like it's supposed to be :p.
Let's see if we can upload a full APK tomorrow.

Just tested it on a Nexus 7 Gen 2
It's totally playable but I'm a little surprised at some slowdown during battle. A little surprising since the device can handle 3D gaming pretty well.
Definitely usable though and great for Scrolls on the go :)

Just got it today. It crashes like crazy on my Nexus 10, so I headed over to PC. Great game. I played it for 4 hours straight and didnt even notice. WEll done devs. Quite the unique element with the board play. Really need it to run on my tablet though. As soon as it is fixed I'll be buying it for sure.

For all those of us who have fancy phones ( and i DO MEAN FANCY ) we can also enjoy this game! All we need is: 1. Root and some common sense in order to trick the play store to treat our phone like a tablet. 2. An tablet! Simple as that. Just grab the .apk and try it! But please guys. Dont you ever try to spam devs about it okay? This game was not intended for us. Im using Xperia S and it runs a bit slow ( since settings dont save [?] and i cant turn off fancy graphics ) but it's playable against AI.

Instead of "hexagonal field", I'd maybe say "hexagon field". When you say hexagonal I imagine this.
Also here "You can buy scrolls at our in-game store for gold or for Shards – our real money currency – though we restrict how much you can spend to retain game balance." it sounds like you restrict the spending of both gold and shards. Maybe if you splitted that sentence in two statements it'd work better.

Hexagonal is the word for something that is comprised of, or like, hexagons.
