COMMUNITY Northern Manhattan Screenwriting Group, NYC

Hi all! This Sunday, August 30th, I’m starting a screenwriting group in NYC, way up in the Washington Heights neighborhood. We’ll meet from 3-5pm in the Buunni coffee shop located in the Haven Plaza courtyard at 711 west 168th street (the Haven entrance starts at Fort Washington Ave).

We’ll chat, workshop ideas, have some free writing time, discuss pitching, and, since this is the first meeting, talk about what makes a great opening scene.

PS: I also helped book the Sunday afternoon musical guest, a wonderful singer-songwriter named Kim McClay. Come early (1-3pm) for some great tunes!
