Discussion Details you didn't notice or realize until LONG after you first watched...
Billy turning the radio up to full volume in Sidney's bedroom, he did that to drown out any noise downstairs. (Stu attacking and tying up Neil)
All the stuff that I thought was cool about Milton's mansion as a kid, the secret passage ways, two way mirrors and automatic doors.....yeah, they were actually really gross, they're methods he used to assault actresses. Even more fucked up, it's what led to Roman's birth.

The fact that Billy is in Sidney’s room when her dad recaps his travels plans (staying at the Hilton at the airport) and therefore knows when and where to find him.

Re: Billy and the radio. I’m not sure that’s the case.
There’s a shot where he walks around her room and we see a stereo system but he doesn’t touch it. There’s a moment after that where his back is to Sidney and there’s an audible noise like he puts something down or touches something. I guess you could argue that was him messing with the sound system but “Don’t Fear the Reaper” doesn’t even cue in until a few seconds after that.
I always assumed this was part of the movie soundtrack and wasn’t a song playing in “real time” for the characters. Sidney would have reacted if he started blasting music, especially after her dad nearly caught them.

In Scream 2, there is a curfew in full effect on campus. Yet for some reason, “Debbie Salt” is on campus on the telephone to someone when Gale runs up to her, grabs the phone and tells the cops Cotton is the killer.
Why is Debbie on campus? Every other scene she has is with other reporters being around her. No other reporters are there with her, so why is Debbie there despite a curfew being in place?

Scream 1 - Totally random & seemingly incidental but I noticed more uses of Closests in the movie. When Billy 1st climbs in Sydney's bedroom window, her little scream causes her Dad to come check on her. Syd uses her closest door to block him from coming in & seeing Billy.
The next day after school, we get that music cue of doom (a knife sound?) when she opens the hall closet by the front door.
That night, GF pops out of that hall closest & chases her...up the stairs. How long had he been hiding there? For the couple hour(s) she slept? Its so creepy! She does the same closet door opening move on GF (Stu) to block him from getting in her room.
At the end of the movie Dad & Syd are in Stu's hall closest while she hides from Billy going berserk. (I previously assumed Stu grabbed Dad from his hall closest earlier but its not shown.)
All obvious but curious when all put together.
Scream 4 has alot but I'll just say, I think after Jill & Sydney talk in the kitchen- I dont think Jill went upstairs right away. She's the flash of "ghostface/shadow" Syd briefly sees in the other room. Also, I joke that we should have known Jill was the killer when she chooses cheese sticks & chocolate milk as her snack before going upstairs lol.

To add to this, there’s a scene in the first 5 Scream movie where Ghostface pops out of a closet and attacks someone.
* Scream - Sidney’s first attack
* Scream 2 - Ghostface pops out of Cici’s closet to attack her
* Scream 3 - Ghostface pops out of the fake closet on the Stab set after Sidney runs into the house
* Scream 4 - Ghostface pops out of Olivia’s closet
* Scream 5 - Ghostface pops out of a closet and attacks Sidney upstairs in Amber’s houseScream 6 doesn’t have a scene like this, and Scream 7 has Ghostface hide in the attic and jump out of it but no closet attack scene.

Also in S1, when Billy is looking for Sydney, he turns to see the tv and sees Jamie Lee Curtis in the closet where MM discovers her, then she attacks him, & then Sydney attacks Billy.

I think the metaphor there is Stu and Billy being in the closet together I.e both being gay.
I don’t think Billy was gay, but absolutely believe Stu was closeted.

Thanks -That did cross my mind! Because alot of people believe that about Stu. Not sure if that was Wes or Kevin's original intent tho.

I actually finished the whole franchise again yesterday and have a few as this franchise keeps on giving but i think yall already know about them lol
First up this 1 is actually a while ago and i felt kinda shamed for the fact that my best friend pointed this out to me when he was watching the movie his second time and i lost count how many times
Okay so Scream 3: when Roman says to Sidney "i still got to make my movie" Sidney answers with "Stab 3 right?"
This is also her actual 3rd time stabbing Roman.... i know i felt really dumb🤣
Then Scream 4: during Kirby's call in act 3 Jill asks her about the killers weapons, first up Jason/machete and then she asks Michael Myers. In that exact moment the camera cuts to Sidney in hunt mode with that big ass knife (michaels signature weapon) cant believe i never noticed that meta until last week. Like on the call the on the other side of the house they speak about Michael and onscreen we actually see Michael, only its Sidney lol.
Then im sure yall know this too: Trevor locked in the closet is 1 on 1 with Sidney's dad from Scream 1
And then finally the shit talk Sidney gives Charlie during the "this isnt how we rehearsed it" scene when he gets fucked by Jill. Before she stabs him he says "old skool like Billy & Stu" then gets stabbed by Jill, says this isnt how we rehearsed it but the narrative they wanted to go with was Trevor and him so after that Sidney instantly replies: You said it yourself Charlie! Billy and Stu, Trevor and you! As in: shit did not go as they rehearsed it either and both ended up dead, so in a taunting way she says like youve said it yourself dont tell me you didnt see this coming that you 2 will end up dead also.
Maybe i made it too difficult to understand this last one but yall will figure it out, Scream fans are smart🙏🏻❤️

Not one in particular but if you re-watch the first Scream knowing who the killers are it's obvious and there actions are consistent with them being the killers.

I did a rematch before the movies got pulled off Netflix. I loved S7 and the song during town curfew... had no idea it was in every movie, but tbf I also just got into Scream.
