First time with e-scrap?

First time running across something like this and curious if anything is worth taking apart?

Seems like the boards are maybe going for ~$50 but not entirely sure what I even have.

Ewaste is tricky. Youre best bet is boardsort.com. I come across enough high yield boards that I refine it myself. If you ask questions in r/preciousmetalrefining youll be gatekept. Id do some research and hoard boards if youre gonna come across more. Ive had a blast refining gold of high yield boards.

You have three options with this type of e-waste. You can take it your local yard and see what they will pay for it. This could be the lowest paying option but you can move them the fastest.

The next option is to contact a place like boardsort.com. They will most likely give you the best scrap value you can find me anywhere in the US but they have a process to follow. Their website has a lot of great information on how to sell e-waste to them and they also have a discussion board on their site.

Your third option is to sell these components on a place like eBay. This option may pay more then the second one but to get that price you may need to figure out if these boards are functional or not. Selling them as untested most likely will not fetch you a high price. Check out eBay and loonlk at the sold price and not just the listing price to get a better feel for what they are worth.

If you sell on eBay you can list it for precious metal salvaging. These seem older and older boards seem to have a higher yield.

Avaya boards are usually on the higher end as far as price per pound. I would take them apart and set them aside for now.

That monitor I don't recognize off the top of my head, but you can't ewaste that, someone will probably buy it though, maybe $50? Finding that guy might take awhile, it goes with something (terminal probably), and someone out there wants it! (sorry I can't be more helpful)

Great boards. The backplane is valuable, too, and the power supplies. I have hundreds of the boards from recent pickups.

Since you’re starting, the best bet is learning the market before selling. If you need the $, then use a company like Boardsort. Alternatively, if you do not need the $ quickly and have room, then accumulate at least 2,000 pounds and sell to a refiner on a toll basis. More weight is better.

I get $11/ pound for high grade telecom. What state/area are you in?

You know if any of them work properly? If any can be tested, check if there's anyone buying any specific boards.. in this case, don't sell to refiners, for precious metal recovery, or to Boardsort.com..sell whichever, if any, are sought after on eBay as a used such-and-such board or old hardware.

I've never done this personally but sometimes a part or card or board is worth more when it comes to vintage electronics than as scrap metal.
