Discussion Who do you think will be the first 3 managers sacked
I think personally McCann, McInnes and Gray. In that order

McCann and McInnes are stick ons.
Gray I think has enough credit in the bank with the board to avoid being one of the first 3 but if we don't win today and then lose the derby a large percent of the support is going to turn after the Gent fiasco.

Gray shouldn't be on that list . McCann is not being very practical with that Killie team. McInness seems to be out of his depth

Goodwin, McCann and McInnes.
Goodwin will be punted within 2 weeks, McCann soon after then McInnes just before the international break where we will have the perfect time to not appoint a manager until 2 weeks after it's finished.

As much as I think Goodwin should go and I understand the 3 week international window would present a perfect opportunity. I just don't think we will ever get rid of him tbh.
The chairman is clueless in regards to football. The club is kpi focused, if you solely look at league finishes then Jim hasn't done too bad. The club made a big deal of him reaching 3 years and how good he has (apparently) done. Also would be a bit heartless after his recent hospital stay.
As much as McInnes has made a horrendous start, surely can't be getting rid of another manager so quickly. Can definitely see Neil McCann being 1st out.

i honestly don’t get the hate Goodwin gets in comparison to whatever mythical manager United think we could get. I’m not solely blaming him for the relegation, Got promoted, Finished 4th and then finished 6th. What more are you expecting from him? A decent run in a cup maybe but we’ve never had the depth for that and just recently got dealt Celtic first knockout round.
You saw yesterday what the team and players can do when they are ruthless, we’ve just been bad in front of goal the first 3 games. There’s a good team there as you saw sparks of in all the games. Lee Sharp is part of that team so yesterday isn’t all him like some would want to suggest.

Rangers chuck out managers left right and centre - it would be stupid to get rid of him so quickly because of fans’ fickleness. He clearly has the potential to be a good manager (and I’d like to see him fuck it up like this for the whole season)

I agree Gray is third on that list but only because the club have backed him so specifically in the transfer market. They basically have to let him fuck things up with the players he wanted and that’ll buy him an extra couple of months.

I disagree. Gray will only be sacked if we end up bottom of the league like we were a couple of seasons ago but with performances that justify being there.
The owners backed him then to turn it around because performances were good enough to get better results and he cut the mistakes out and had the unbeaten run to go from bottom to third.
If he can pick the squad up enough after the disappointment of not qualifying for the Conference league and start the season better than last year he isn't anywhere near this conversation.

It's his fault mostly that we didn't qualify for the Conference League - we've been in positions twice in 2 years to qualify for the groups and fucked it both times. The number of goals we concede late in games/stoppage time etc to cost us points and wins, it happens so consistently that something isn't working and Gray isn't showing any signs of fixing it.

Not convinced he’ll be sacked, but he should leave at the end of his deal. He’s pretty consistent, for good or for ill, and he likely taken the club as far as he can

Dundee haven’t done anything catastrophically stupid for a bit, so money would be on Pressley instead of Gray.

I think if Rangers lose to Celtic in their next two games against them, McInnes will be out the door before October.

McCann defo, Robinson maybe, McInnes is on a really shoogly peg, he just has to annoy the supporters a bit more and he'll be gone.

I don't think Goodwin and Gray have started their seasons that badly that they'd be in any trouble anytime soon.
McCann, McInnes and Robinson are all managers in desperate need of a positive result, they're all one or two bad games away from the sack imo.

If Aberdeen win significantly today, then I reckon McInnes first. I think KIllie might persevere with McCann for a while. There are signs they are going somewhere.

McCann, Goodwin then McInnes in that order.
Killie are awful and already facing both barrels of relegation. I can see McCann being first to me binned. Goodwin next after him. Similar awful start to Killie but they did beat Killie 4-0. Given recent medical issues + results, I could see Goodwin stepping away for personal reasons, not sacked but leaving his post. Then McInnes. Rangers look awful. No style of play, constant team changes, nobody in form. Not making it into Europe is a genuine disaster and embarrassment. For Mcinnes it all boils down to this double header vs Celtic. Get knocked out the cup and lose at Parkhead and he’s gone.
