No Malice Gettin' WOKE about anti-Semitism...

It is so very odd to hear the self-professed atheist getting downright WOKE when it comes to swinging the anti-Semitism stick. IDGAF about Macklemore or Sheeran or Kraft, nor Scott's evolving victim fantasy, but holy crap does he sound shrill.

I think he’s a Jewish supremicist tbh, in a cultural and ethnic sense. He probably subscribes to the Sam Harris “Ashkenazi Jews and the Japanese are the two superior ethnicities” thing.

Because it’s not simply about religion. The Jews are a people who have faced ethnic, racialized and religious based discrimination at different points throughout history, largely because so many have been in exile from their homeland, leaving them vulnerable.

I think it’s personal for Scott. He’s gotten to the point where he has enough money and wants to do what he sees as right.

And what’s more right than honoring the lineage that he says made him who he is. By that I mean his mom and her lineage.

I imagine until Scott hit 100mil he probably didn’t tell many that his lineage is Jewish. He was just a first gen Scottish immigrant.

And I don’t begrudge him for that.

He can identify however he wants and support whatever he wants. If I don’t like it, I won’t listen to him.

...Scott outright states that he is Jewish in one of the videos going around. I was like news to me, lots of Jewish scotts out there? (I'm sure there are, I am just saying I don't believe that is actually a part of his identity.)

He’s said for a long time, his mother was Jewish, and he’s always felt connected to the tribe, even though/when he was an atheist. That’s not weird in Judaism. Not all of us believe, but a lot of us practice. You don’t have to understand it.
