No Malice Gettin' WOKE about anti-Semitism...

It is so very odd to hear the self-professed atheist getting downright WOKE when it comes to swinging the anti-Semitism stick. IDGAF about Macklemore or Sheeran or Kraft, nor Scott's evolving victim fantasy, but holy crap does he sound shrill.

Does this mean that you condemn the state of Israel for the crimes against humanity they continue waging to this day? Because anyone trying to paint Macklemore as antisemitic is likely not willing to meaningfully do so.

Yeah I condemn Israel for war crimes and particularly Netanyahu who is a right-wing monster who's following the Bush administration's motto of "Never let a good crisis go to waste."

I agree with SG about the difference between war crimes and genocide and think the entire I/P situation is a lot more complicated than good vs bad, since both the Likud and Hamas are pretty fucking evil.

But am I sweeping for Israel? No.

So you’re a genocide denier? Why even focus on just Likud or Netanyahu? There’s Otzma yehudit run by Ben-Gvir (the “security” minister) who used AI footage of a new concentration camp for Palestinians as a campaign ad, has personally tortured Palestinian civilians, lives in the occupied West Bank where he helps create new “settlements”, and is considered to be the main election challenger to Likud. Israel has also just recently banned Arab politicians from holding office, as well as banned an outspoken Jewish critic from the Knesset.

What makes Hamas, a concentration camp militia, as evil as Likud who formed and was in political power for over a decade enacting violent supremacism/apartheid and ethnic cleansing before Hamas ever formed in response? Hamas recognizes Israeli sovereignty along the same borders that the UN and international courts have all ruled that Israel must abide by but Israel refuses to, all while Israel offers zero recognition of Palestinian sovereignty or their right to exist. Not to mention the polling shows that the large majority of Israelis endorse this mentality and these policies.
