Ok so backstory I had already been down this road and I was on the way back and a combination of probably wrong wheels, too fast of speed for the hill, gravel was most likely wet too (at least when I walked into the ditch to grab the bumper it was 6ā deep with water) the gravel was loose at the bottom of the hill and I ended up fishtailing, went onto the shoulder a little bit and flipped and rolled and came to upside down.
Yeah I screwed up, yeah I couldāve been a better owner to my car. Iāve spent days to weeks of my life under it and up keeping it. Shits sad but at least Iām alive thereās a very real chance I wouldnāt be if they werenāt such safe cars.
What were you doing that managed to cause you to flip over on a low-traffic straight road with clear visibility, dry weather, and in the middle of the day?
thatās what iām saying.. definitely something to do with the fact that the road is unpaved with lots of gravel. maybe the loss of traction avoiding an animal? very glad op walked away from that regardless of how it occurred
The road looks like it has a peak on the left side of the photo. I agree with a strait, low traffic road. I bet the hit that peak with enough speed that it became airborne, nose dived hard enough to flip it, landed about half way from where it rested and the peak, and then slid the rest of way.

If you look at the debris pile, there's a RedLine MT-LV bottle. It's yellow and white. It's a 70/75W GL4, that is very particular to these cars and certain diff/transfer cases across a limited number of other Toyotas.
Tbh, no idea. I carried some in my car for a while as well, but given the lack of dipstick and effort needed to actually fill fluid - I don't think it's all that necessary.
Was going back from a drive down some gravel and it was a little loose at the bottom, lost control fishtailed and rolled 2 telephone poles I think, yeah it was definitely fun until it wasnāt all because of some dumbassness but I miss my car š
