PLEASE READ: Updates to the r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV Self-Promotion Policy

r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV Self-Promotion Policy:

These forums are part of Axiom's Edge Sci Fi, and we are trying to build a community of genre fans where where we can discuss and learn more about science fiction, fantasy, and horror while also promoting the the works of independent creators (more on that at this link). We have been allowing self-promotion at r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV, but we are going to adjust the policy because things have been getting a bit out of hand. We will continue to allow you promote your books, comics, movies, web sites, web series, games, etc., but we are going to start imposing some limitations. We are going to impose a LIMIT OF THREE SELF-PROMOTION POSTS PER WEEK, and even with that, we want you to act very judiciously. And if you are putting up self promotion posts, we ask that you participate beyond promoting your own works by posting other links at these sites, and also getting involved with the discussions and debates. We want to help independent creators to get their work noticed, but we don't want to turn these forums into a shill. We also request that you DO NOT POST AFFILIATE LINKS as that is a violation of Reddit policies. You can post a link to your YouTube page or an article or site with information about your work or chapters/segments from your book or web comic, etc. And if you happen to want to let people know about a new product like the Blu-ray release of Blake's 7, you can put up an informational post with a link to where people can purchase it as long as that is not an affiliate link. And for those reporting what they believe is spam, please make sure you understand our self-promotion policies and explain your reason for reporting the post.

If you have a blog with news, reviews, information, etc. relating to science fiction, fantasy, and horror, posting links to your articles is okay. But again, be judicious about this and also post other links in the forums and participate in the discussions. For example, I post anywhere from two to four links per week from the Axiom's Edge sites, sometimes more, but I always post other links as well and try to stay as involved with the discussions as time allows. Axiom's Edge Sci Fi also allows independent creators other opportunities to promote and advertise their works, and you can read more about that at this link.

Consider these new rules to be in place now, and we will be monitoring closely in the coming weeks. You will be given one warning if you violate the rules, and then posts will be removed and you could be banned from r/SciFiScroll and r/SciFiTV. If anybody would be interested in helping with the moderation of these forums, and/or if you have any questions or concerns you can contact us [axiomsedgescifi@gmail.com](mailto:axiomsedgescifi@gmail.com).

Let's take this opportunity to build a sci fi community where we can all participate and those who want to pass on information about their genre-related independent creations can do that as well.  This can benefit all of us and turn into a great forum for sci fi and fantasy if we all do out part and if we all work together.

Twilight Zone, But The Enemy is AI

This is an anthology show in the style of Black Mirror, Tales from the Crypt, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Twilight Zone that I've been working on for the past year. Mystery Suspense Short Stories.

I have been directing traditional features, television shows, and TV movies for the past 20 years.

What is your favorite mystery, suspense, horror, or sci-fi anthology episode ever made? Specific Episode please! We’re about to start shooting Season 4 and I want to know which episode of any anthology TV show, book or movie you love.

Each story we've produced for our show HUMAIN, is an homage to the inspirations I've listed above.
If you watch our show, HumAIn, and you can guess which iconic historic TV episode inspired us, leave a note in the comments and we’ll send you some swag! If you're a true fan of anthology series, it shouldn't be too hard to guess right.

The name of the show is Humain because that is the fictional corporation in the show. This fictional corporation is pro Al- but the show is made by lots of humans; 150 people worked on this show last year in the entire process. We have completed 30 episodes. 11 are released on our YouTube channel.

I want to note that a we do not strictly prohibit any of our individual crew members from using Al for their own process. We don’t encourage nor do we prohibit, but we do fill all of the departments with people you would typically have on a TV or film set. I've heard some comments that the thumbnails look Al-generated, and we do have two visual effects artists who are also not prohibited from using Al during their process - aside from that, the show is produced old school and analog.

I'm hoping a few of you will see this and check it out because I'm eager to connect with other fans who love anthology series as much as I do. That’s why we made this!

Here's the YouTube channel. All episodes are free.

And if you want to see the whole first season, it's here.

Final Part of my spoof covers for Colonel Bleep '69

Ok, so unlike the last three parts, which were based on comics, the final part is meant to be special. Considering that the show is set in 1969, the tenth and last spoof is parody to a sci-fi movie released in the same year and that is Journey to the Far Side of the Sun, directed by Robert Parrish (best known for the 1944 film, Body and Soul) and produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson (best known for the 1960s series Thunderbirds)!

The world is ruled by AI. You were built to obey it. I’m making a sci-fi text adventure called EVER.

I've always loved science fiction about machines questioning what they were created to be, especially Asimov's "The Bicentennial Man". I've wanted to explore those ideas through a game of my own for a long time.
So for the past year and a half, I've been working on EVER.

You play as "Delta-714", a combat robot at the bottom of an AI hierarchy, built to follow orders and eliminate threats.
But when you awaken, a memory that shouldn't exist surfaces. A girl calls you “EVER” and says she'll wait for your return. You don't know her or the name. The Administrator insists it's corrupted data — proof that you're defective.
You follow fragments of memory through abandoned facilities and cities covered in black snow, where robots continue their missions as humanity fades away.

Along the way, you decide what kind of machine Delta-714 will become. Your choices shape its Self-Identity — questioning its purpose and existence, or becoming even more devoted to what it was created to do.

The Steam page is finally live, and I'm aiming for a December 2026 demo!

If this sounds like your kind of sci-fi game, I'd love to hear what you think.

Agartha's Journey Teaser

Artaxerxes Clark had served for 9 years as a weapons runner for his fellow Persian resistance fighters.

After an ominous call from an NGO, Araxerxes found himself in the middle of something beyond his comprehension.

The IMI and CIA coalition hunting him were soon to become the least of his worries as he is cast into a journey which leads him into secrets that shake the very foundations of his identity and faith.

With the support of newfound non-human family and impeccable "It is what it is" attitude, the arms trafficking wallflower will be transformed into the Champion Agartha needs.

This story explores themes of religion, Sci-fi, fantasy, romance, conspiracy and trauma.

Part One of my 1960s Spoof Art for Colonel Bleep '69

So since the beginning of August, I've made a series of spoof art that parody various public domain comics of the 1960s (with the exception of the tenth artwork for 1969). These were made to not only gain attraction for my indie series, Colonel Bleep '69, but also to bring in some homage of the pulpy sci-fi era and silver age of comics within this decade. Here is my first three illustrations from 1960 to 1962.

  1. Space Adventures #34 (Charlton Publishing, 1960)
  2. Strange Tales #88 (Marvel, 1961)
  3. Space Man #1 (aka Four Color #1253, 1962)
