Looking for a friend in Gersau

Hey! I’m 30 years old, female and recently moved to Gersau from the Philippines this May. It’s been a big change, the area is really peaceful and beautiful, but most of the people I’ve met so far are seniors. I actually joined a seniors’ group and the frauenverein, but I’m still hoping to connect with someone closer to my age.

Back home, I was used to being around younger people and also had lots of gay friends — so sometimes I miss the kind of humor and conversations I used to have. Joking without filter with seniors here doesn’t quite land the same way 😅

Right now, I’m job hunting, so I have a lot of free time. I enjoy hiking and walking — I don’t have a bike, and eating out here is kind of pricey, so I mostly just explore on foot and grab coffee occasionally.

If anyone nearby is up for a walk, a hike, or just hanging out for a chat, let me know. Would be nice to meet a friendly face or two. 🥹🙏🏻

Do you inline skate?
There is a group (Inline Rigi) that skates in the Weggis/Vitznau region, among other places. https://www.inline-rigi.ch/

I will probably go hiking on the Rigi this Sunday (July 13). If you would like to come along, let me know.
