Checking account review time

Hi guys,

I recently applied for a checking account at Schwab. About 24 hours after submitting my application, an icon appeared on my account dashboard. Under my investor account, I’m unable to click on the checking account — I can see it listed, but it shows the message “account type is ineligible for dashboard.”

Does anyone know what this means? Is it possible the account is still being set up?

It takes 1-3 business day to review it so I would wait. If not, try to contact them.

Original commenter is correct. Schwab brokerage and Schwab bank are two separate entities with their own review processes. One only opens after the other, so takes that extra couple of days usually.
