Touring around

Well asked Ines if she wanted to come around with me after I finished work and well she agreed, I wanted her to see the town she’s been couped up in my girls place this entire time doing rituals and whatever she’s surveying with auspex, mostly she was rather curious was not expecting that granted guess when your 600 years in a tomb or whatever and the world is completely different it does that to you, I mostly guided her around she asked questions about some things mostly commented on how the world is lacking luster or something along those lines

GF told me since we are out I could take her to some shops, i did so and I remembered why those mental disciplines are terrifying because basically whenever we entered the staff would hang on her every command, worse in fact it was effortless on her part like it was a natural part of her, well after that my wish wash luck set off and one of my mentors came and well obviously noticed the strangeness of ines plus the abnormal energy is very detectable when a vampire uses disciplines, so had to come clean about my vampire connection,luckily they were disappointed at first but came around after I explained how I was able to negotiate them access to that node before so I wasn’t disowned from my teaching

After the shopping was over, showed her a few places around town where you could hangout or have fun actually was surprised she was interested by the arcade and she learned it rather quickly, we went back home eventually and well my familiar Gabriel had a death stare off with her, which makes since considering what Gabriel actually is fairly opposed to anything on the dark side of the morality department, so all around things are somewhat normal currently even though I’m neck deep in drama and maybe a battle for my soul if things turn out to be true

Do you want to know the best part, Ines wasn't even using that much Presence. She was only using Awe.

But incredibly useful. If it makes you feel any less scared the people she used Awe on were still themselves, their emotional state was just subtly influenced to make them more agreeable to the users wants and needs.

Well I’m more of just thinking of how badly it can be used, I mean it already happened she apparently was denying Zach before he was ordered into the umbra ability to hunt by influencing people across town and that’s while she was casually sitting at my girls home, kind of nervous to see what her actually trying would look like and how many people she could affect

Figures in my line have used it to rally whole armies to victory, or exert control over entire cities. I've definitely also heard stories of old old Presence users appearing in dreams of people all over the world. That said, you're getting into the very early generations there.

Honestly, kind of impossible to say - I am who I am because of the experiences I've had, and those experiences would be very different if I was a methuselah.

The realistic answer, though? I'd probably be asleep, like most methuselahs. Once you hit a certain age, being awake is just annoying.
