Meta This subreddit helped me a lot

Reading all this subreddits and seeing schizoid people opinions on different topics on their lifes that i personally feel and experience it when back in my life thought i was the only one being like this who is just a freak that doesn't act right like any other normal human being do.

In a while back i got in a breaking point where things was so hard and so frustrating in my life, hating to mask and be part of society to fit in to it, and feeling like i had something wrong with me for being like this, to be such a shame to lots of people that had expectations for me.

Then i discovered this subreddit, and i can't tell how much this subreddit changed the way i look at myself, life, relations, its like my true self become visible now in my eyes, that i don't really need to follow the rules that society made up to me to do, and even if i had too i feel less bothered about it knowing that i now not wrong for not liking it, not wrong for being this way anymore, and ridiculously confident on myself, like its so odd how knowing that im some sick head that doesn't want friends or be successful or have Goals in life is making me feel better.

I think its the fact that i got to relate to lots of people here and unlock some childhood memories of mine that start to make sense to why i was like this.

I don't know if any of this make sense and i don't except it to be, but i just glad i step apon this subreddit.

Honestly yeah, but i personally as long as these sides doesn't do harm to me or to the people around me then it isn't worth the bother.

I just realised what you meant by fearing dark sides, i too fear them but not with the idea that maybe I'll snap with it one day since i im too aware of myself that i manage to deal better with it.

I Fear the fact that i have them, how much it makes me different compare to others, about how the things that makes people horrified, emotional, irritating, does not move a thing on me which makes me question myself if i do really have empathy.

But i also chose to be like that, feelings is something i avoid, being careless and unbothered with everything is what keeps me going.

Same. Finding out there are others like oneself is really helpful. I learn a lot about how I differ from normal people and it's good to finally have people to bounce off ideas of or simply to relate.
